Instructions

Step 1
Mix yeast, milk margarine, sugar and salt. Put in saucepan warm gently, add to flour with beaten yolk. Knead to firm dough. Cover with cloth leave in warm place until just beginning to rise (approx 1 hour). Knead again. Roll out into fingers 6 inches long, shape into rings pinching ends together. Leave on floured surface in a warm place for 10 mins until just beginning to rise. Drop into saucepan of simmering water, cook gently until they rise to the top. Remove and place on greased baking tray. Cook in oven 160-180 C until golden brown
