Instructions
Step 1
Brown Meat & Onions: In a large pot, heat olive oil and brown ground meat with diced onions. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Step 2
Add Peppers & Tomatoes: Add bell peppers and cook for a few minutes. Stir in diced tomatoes.
Step 3
Simmer: Pour in broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 15–20 minutes until peppers are tender.
Step 4
Add Rice: Stir in cooked rice (if desired) toward the end. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
