Measure with your heart-Cut and core roma tomatoes, throw Cherry tomatoes in whole, quarter the onion and peel and smash the garlic. Toss with olive oil and salt and roast in oven until soft and slightly brown. Transfer tomato mixture to blender or use immersion blender. Add back to pot with chicken broth tomato paste and season to taste (I used tumeric, red pepper flakes, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for another 15 mins. If too thin you can add milk or cream or a cornstarch slurry.
