Prepare the pasta:

Bring a big pot of water that has been salted to a boil. After adding the pasta, cook it as directed on the package until it is al dente. Set aside after draining through a colander.

To make the pesto:

put the fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and grated Parmesan cheese in a blender or food processor. Pulse until chopped finely.
