Instructions

Step 1
Combine warm milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and yeast. Let sit.

Add 1/4 cup melted butter, egg, salt and flour. Mix to make a dough. Knead for about 10 minutes on a floured surface. Then let rise for 1 hour.

While the dough is rising, mix together softened butter, brown sugar, and orange zest in a bowl.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle shape on a floured surface, about 1/4-inch thick.

Evenly spread the orange butter mixture over the rolled-out dough.

Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes, covered with a cloth.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9
While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, orange juice, and orange zest to create the glaze.
Step 10
Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly, then drizzle the orange glaze generously over the top. Serve warm and enjoy!
