Air Fryer Hash Browns
4 steps
Prep:10minCook:10min
There are so many ways to make hash browns but you must try air frying them if you haven’t already. It is really fast and they get unbelievably crispy and golden on the outside. And yet they remain soft and fluffy on the inside.

Instructions
Step 1
start by peeling your potatoes and soak them in cold water for about ten minutes to remove the starch. Drain your potatoes and remove them from the bowl. Then grate them into the same mixing bowl and soak for another ten minutes. So next drain the water and squeeze the grated potatoes to remove as much of the excess water as possible. The drier you can get your potatoes, the crispier they will become in the air fryer.
Step 2
Then add in your breadcrumbs, sea salt, ground black pepper, onion powder and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix well. Shape the mixture into patties using your hands.
Step 3
Line your air fryer drawer with baking paper then add your hash brown patties on top. Give them a spray of light vegetable oil to make them crispy. Make sure you spread them out evenly and don’t over crowd the basket. Cook them on 190c for around ten minutes, or until golden brown and piping hot. Don’t forget to turn them over half way and spray with vegetable oil again.
Step 4
Serve your crispy hash browns with some streaky bacon and a fried egg for a delicious breakfast or brunch.
