Step 1
Remove stem end from each tomato; peel tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Mix tomatoes, onion, green pepper, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and heat to boiling; reduce heat Simmer until onion and green pepper are tender 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in bread cubes.
