Step 1
Pour your buttermilk or whey into a bowl
Step 2
In a separate bowl add your flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and whisk





Step 3
Add one egg and two tablespoons of melted butter and one teaspoon of vanilla to your bowl with your milk/whey mixture



Step 4
Whisk then add to dry ingredients until you have a pancake/waffle texture batter. If the batter isn't thick enough you can add some more flour.
Step 5
If you are making pancakes add batter to griddle or pan and wait until you see bubbles on the top before you flip. If you are making waffles prepare according to waffle maker directions.
