Instructions
Step 1
First, grab a large saucepan & brown the butter on medium heat. Do not walk away! Browning butter can happen quickly.
Step 2
As the butter melts, it will start to foam. Keep an eye on it & occasionally swirl the pan or stir the butter.
Step 3
It’s ready when the butter turns a golden brown color & gives off a nutty aroma. This process usually takes about 4-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the butter; it can quickly go from beautifully browned to burnt & bitter.
Step 4
Take the pan off the heat and add in the bouillon cube. Stir until it dissolves completely in the butter.
Step 5
Now, pour in the chicken broth. Return the pan to the heat and bring the mixture to a boil
Step 6
Once the mixture is boiling, add the egg noodles & return them to a second boil.
Step 7
Cover the pot & turn off the heat, leaving it on the burner. The noodles will cook in the steamy broth, & this is what gives them that incredible texture.
Step 8
Let it stand for 30 minutes , stirring every 10 minutes.
