Instructions

Step 1
Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, wash, and pat dry.
Step 2
Grate the garlic finely.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, salt, pepper, grated garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and broth or dashi powder.
Step 4
Mix thoroughly until the cabbage is evenly coated with the seasonings. Optionally, knead with your hand to mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Season with additional salt to taste.
Step 6
Optional: Garnish with chili threads before serving.
