Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice for 10 minutes with a pinch of salt
Step 2
Half the bell pepper and cut into chunks
Step 3
Put the Sausages onto a baking tray and put them in the oven on the middle shelf for 20 to 25 minutes, 220⁰C/200⁰C Fan/Gas Mark 7
Step 4
Half way through cooking the Sausages, add the pepper to the baking tray, drizzle with oil and toss to coat, then turn the Sausages over
Step 5
Halve, peel and thinly slice the onion, peel and grate the garlic, trim and half the green beans
Step 6
Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan, once hot add the onion and green beans for 7 Minutes

Roughly chop the parsley

Once the onion and green beans are soft add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, then transfer all into a bowl

Add butter to the now empty pan, once hot add the flour so it forms a paste (Roux)

Once golden brown add the Cajun spice then add 300ml of water a little at a time, then the chicken stock paste, passata and sugar for 2 minutes then take off the heat
Step 11
Once the Sausages and peppers are cooked, cut the Sausages into slices then add into the sauce with the peppers, green beans and onions until hot
Step 12
Add half the parsley with salt and pepper, also add a splash of water if the sauce is too thick
Step 13
Serve and enjoy
