This is a recipe that I grew up with my mom and Grandma Snow making. So delicious, especially with their homemade breadsticks! It makes a lot.

Instructions
Step 1
Sauté onion, celery, and green bell pepper with the ground beef




Step 2
Transfer to a large pot, and add the tomato juice, grated carrots, minced garlic, brown sugar, water, salt, pepper, and marjoram.








Step 3
Bring the whole pot to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 2 hours.
Step 4
Add the cream of celery soup and stir well to combine. Allow to heat through.
Step 5
Serve with breadsticks, and top with shredded cheese if desired.
