Instructions

Step 1
1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat. 2. Add beef, potatoes, and carrots to a 6–7 qt slow cooker. 3. Pour in beef broth, tomato juice, onion soup mix, and season with salt & pepper. Stir well. 4. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours (or HIGH 4–5 hours) until potatoes and carrots are tender. 5. Right before serving, stir in heavy cream. 6. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese and buttered rolls.
