Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs.
Step 3
Add oatmeal/oats.
Step 4
Combine flour, salt and soda in separate bowl. Gradually stir flour mix into sugar mix by hand.
Step 5
Stir in chips and nuts.
Step 6
Place rounded teaspoons of dough onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Cool on rack.
