Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop celery, carrot, onion, garlic and mushrooms.
Step 2
Melt 6 tbsp butter in the dutch oven. Add veggies (including garlic) and sautée until most of the water has evaporated and veggies are soft.
Step 3
Add flour and stir constantly for 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Add the broth, thyme, salt and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
Step 5
Add the chicken and orzo, and serve.
