Instructions In a large bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir in the melted butter and vegetable oil. Add the cornmeal and mix until combined. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Once the dough comes together, knead for 2-3 minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 90 minutes, or until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 425. Generously brush a deep dish pizza pan with vegetable shortening on the bottom and sides. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan and let it rest for 15 minutes. Press the dough evenly across the bottom and up the sides of the pan to form the crust. Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the bottom of the crust. Spoon the pizza sauce over the cheese and spread evenly. Finish with a light sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through. Let the pizza rest for 10 minutes before serving.
