Instructions
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook ground beef on medium high heat until thoroughly cooked. Drain excess oil.
Step 2
Add Taco Seasoning and stir.
Step 3
Add salsa and rice and stir to incorporate.
Step 4
Pour water or broth into the pan, stir and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Once the water boils, turn the heat to simmer, cover and cook 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.
Step 6
Place in a serving dish or serve directly in the pan.
Step 7
In a microwave safe bowl, heat Gordo's Cheese Dip for 60 seconds.
Step 8
Stir and spoon over the Taco Rice.
Step 9
Top with sliced green onions and serve.
Step 10
EXTRA CHEESY: Heat up more Gordo's Cheese Dip if you'd like to get some extra queso on top of the Taco Rice.
