Honey Garlic Chicken with Mushrooms

Instructions

Step 1
1. Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 2
2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened and lightly browned.

5. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Step 6
6. Stir in the honey and soy sauce, mixing well to create the sauce.

7. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the honey garlic sauce.
Step 8
8. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Step 9
9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
