Instructions
Step 1
Slice onions thin and carmelize
Step 2
While onion is caramelizing, thinly slice steak. Half bell peppers lengthwise
Step 3
Place halves bell peppers cut side down in a 350 degree oven. Roast until the skins just begin to brown. Flip peppers over and roast for a few minutes more.
Step 4
After onions are carmelized, remove them from and place to the side. Place thinly cut steak in pan and brown. Once steak is browned, add onions back into pan and mix steaks and onions together until onions are heated.
Step 5
Fill the sliced peppers. First, a layer of cheese slices. Then fill to top with steak and onion mixture. Top with slices of cheese. Return to oven until the cheese on top is melted. Serve.
