Ingredients
6 servings
1 lbground beef
1onion
small, diced
0.5green bell pepper
diced
2 clovesgarlic
minced
1can red kidney beans
drained and rinsed
1can black beans
drained and rinsed
1can diced tomatoes
or crushed
1 packetChili Seasoning
1 tspground cumin
1 tspchili powder
½ tspsalt
or to taste
½ tspblack pepper
1 cupbeef broth
or water, use more or less depending on how thick you like it
Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off extra grease if needed.

2. Add the onion and green pepper and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook just until fragrant.
Step 3
3. Sprinkle in the chili seasoning, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well so everything’s evenly seasoned.
Step 4
4. Add the tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, and broth. Stir to combine.

5. Bring to a gentle simmer, then lower the heat and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve hot.
