ScoFo’s Shrimp and Sausage stew

Instructions

Step 1
In gallon pitcher add water and Dry roux and mix to combine
Step 2
Melt bacon grease then add Guidry’s (diced onion, celery, bell pepper) and sauté 5-8 minutes until softened
Step 3
Once veggies are softened add sliced andouille and roux/water mixture and stir
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and simmer for about 30 minutes
Step 5
Add shrimp and simmer for about 5 minutes until shrimp turn pink
Step 6
Serve over rice
