Step 1
On Saute, heat 1 tbsp of Olive oil. When heated, add a layer of beef. Salt and pepper. When first side is browned ( about 4 min), flip and cook, then remove it to a bowl. Repeat until meat is all cooked.
Add the onion to the pot and saute for 2-3 minutes until soft, then add garlic.
Press cancel and cook stirring for 30 seconds.
While the pot is still hot, add a cup of broth and scrap the bottom of the pot. Press cancel, pour in the remaining broth. Add worcestireshire sauce, Italian seasoning, Bay leaf, and stir.
Add beef, carrots, potatoes, and frozen vegetables into pot. Do not stir. Close lid, move steam release to seal position.
Press the manual/Pressure cook button and set time to 35 minutes at high pressure. The insta pot will take 15 minutes to reach pressure, and then cook time will begin. When cooking ends allow pot to naturally release for 15 minutes then open steam spout. Once the air releases open lid. Press saute, add cornstarch and stir continuously for 15 minutes. Then press cancel.
