Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Cream the butter and sugars. Add the egg, vanill essence and milk, then beat until smooth. Sift together the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Fold into the creamed ingredients and gently combine. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips. Place teaspoon sized dollops of mixture on the prepared trays, allowing for spreading. Cook until just brown. Remove from the trays after 5 minutes, and cool on a wire rack.
