Instructions

Step 1
Activate yeast: Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit 5–10 min until foamy.
Step 2
Make the dough: Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix until it becomes a soft dough.
Step 3
Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 4
First rise: Cover and let rise about 1 hour until doubled.
Step 5
Shape Flatten the dough into a rectangle, roll it tightly like a log.
Step 6
Into the silicone pan Lightly oil the pan. Place the dough seam-side down.
Step 7
Second rise Let it rise 30–40 minutes until it reaches the top of the pan.
Step 8
Bake Bake at 180 °C for 30–35 minutes.
Step 9
Cool properly Remove from the silicone pan after 5–10 minutes and cool on a rack (otherwise the crust gets soft).
Step 10
Two important silicone tricks Put the silicone pan on a metal tray before baking so it keeps its shape. Don’t cut the bread while hot—wait at least 1 hour for clean sandwich slices.
