Step 1
Chop the apples into small pieces. Peeling is optional.
Step 2
Place pistachios in a large ziplock bag. Smash with a meat tenderizer, hammer or whatever you have that works until they are in large pieces. Alternately you may chop them
Step 3
Combine all ingredients except for wine (or grape juice). Chill. Add wine before serving.
