Instructions

Step 1
Sauté 4 slices of ginger, 2 bruised garlic cloves and 2 cups of long grain rice in 1 tbsp vegetable oil for 2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Step 2
Add 6 bruised pandan leaves, tied in a knot, and 3 cups chicken stock.
Step 3
Bring to a simmer, cover, then cook for 12 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
Step 4
Remove from the heat and stand, covered, for 10 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Step 5
Remove the solids then serve.
