2Star anise

Instructions
Broth preparation
Step 1
Add ramen broth to crockpot, on high.
Step 2
Sauté garlic and onions in sauce pan. Add to slow cooker pot with broth. When done.
Step 3
Peel chunk of ginger. Cut into large pieces, so they are able to be removed easily, before serving. Add to sauce pan and all other broth ingredients. Bring to boil. And to slow cooker pot, when done.
Step 4
Bring eggs to boil.
Protein preparation
Step 5
Prepare and cook protein of choice for ramen.
Topping(s) preparation
Step 6
Dice all optional toppings and put in serving bowls.
Step 7
Peel boiled eggs and cut in halves.
Ramen preparation
Step 8
Bring ramen noodles to boil. According to package instructions. (Ramen should be prepared approx. 5-10 mins prior to serving.
Serving
Step 9
Divide ramen noodles into bowls.
Step 10
Remove star anise and ginger from broth ingredients slow cooker pot.
Step 11
Add broth to serving bowls over ramen noodles.
Step 12
Place 1/2 cut boiled eggs into each serving bowls. And add option cooked protein.
Step 13
Place additional on table for servings.
