Black Pepper Chicken
A wok is preferred over a frying pan if possible so that chicken is browned and not boiled.

Instructions
Step 1
Chop garlic, pepper, onion, and celery.
Step 2
Chop chicken and quickly marinade in cornstarch and soy sauce (skip if making a "sauce for dish").
For the sauce
Step 3
Mix all sauce ingredients together, and add salt and black pepper (1/2 chicken broth, 1/4 cup oyster sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, 1/2 tbsp cornstarch).
Step 4
Cook chicken in pan for 8 minutes (skip if making a "sauce for dish").
Step 5
Cook pepper, onion, and celery in a pan for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Combine chicken, vegetables, and sauce in pan and stir until sauce thickens.
