Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice according to the package instructions.

Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes, until lightly browned.

Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic.

Cook until the mushrooms soften and release their moisture.

Pour in the cream and stir well.

Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve the creamy mushroom chicken alongside the cooked rice.

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Arrange the rice on one side of the plate and spoon the creamy mushroom chicken next to it. Serve immediately while warm.

If you don't have mushrooms, zucchini works surprisingly well as a substitute and creates a lighter version of the dish.
