Ingredients

8chicken thighs
1onion
chopped
3 Tbspolive oil
1 tspsea salt
½ tspblack pepper
1 tspturmeric
1 tsponion powder
1 tspgarlic powder
1 x 16 ozOrzo pasta
lemon
basil
Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
And a wide pan over medium heat the olive oil, salt, pepper, turmeric, onion powder, garlic powder mix until fragrant.
Step 2
Add chopped onion and saute for 1 to 2 minutes until translucent
Step 3
Add chicken thighs on top and sear on both sides for 5 minutes or until a golden color.
Step 4
Spread the orzo all over the top of the chicken
Step 5
Add lemon zest, then add the sauce on top.
Step 6
Cover with a lid on low heat and cook for 35-40 minutes or until chicken is cooked and orzo is tender.
Step 7
Garnish with chopped fresh basil and fresh lemon juice.
