Crisp Garlic Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry

6 steps
Prep:15minCook:11min
This is a vibrant, fast-paced stir-fry that pairs tender, golden-seared chicken breast with an exceptionally crisp and colorful vegetable medley. By balancing the bold, sharp flavors of freshly minced garlic and ginger with a light, heart-healthy glaze made from natural honey and low-sodium coconut aminos, you get a clean and nutrient-dense dish that doesn't skip on classic savory-sweet takeout flavor. Texture is the star of this recipe: the broccoli absorbs the sauce perfectly, the red bell peppers add a hint of smoky sweetness from the high gas flame, and the combination of water chestnuts, baby corn, and fresh bean sprouts delivers a satisfying, clean crunch in every single bite. It's an ideal 30-minute weeknight meal that leaves you feeling light, energized, and completely satisfied.

Instructions

Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth. Place this bowl, your cubed chicken, and your prepped veggies right next to the stove.
Step 2
Turn your gas burner to 8 or 9. Let the pan heat up for 1 minute, then add 1 tbsp of oil. Once it shimmers, add the cubed chicken. Let it sear and brown, tossing occasionally for 4 to 5 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
Step 3
Turn the burner knob down to 3 or 4. Wait 10 seconds for the pan to adjust, then toss in the minced garlic and ginger. Stir constantly for 30 seconds so they flavor the pan without burning.
Step 4
Turn the dial up to 7. Toss in the broccoli and bell pepper. Keep them moving constantly across the pan for about 2 minutes until they turn vibrant.
Step 5
Leave the dial at 7. Toss in the sliced baby corn and water chestnuts. Keep stirring for 2 minutes so they warm completely through and absorb those garlic-ginger notes.
Step 6
Return the cooked chicken to the pan and pile the bean sprouts right on top. Give your honey sauce a quick stir and pour it around the edges of the hot pan. Crank the dial to 9 or 10. Toss everything vigorously for 45 to 60 seconds. The honey and cornstarch will bubble furiously and turn into a beautiful, thick glaze. Turn off the gas immediately and serve!
