Roy's Chili

3 steps
Prep:20minCook:2h 45min
This is the chili I grew up on as a kid. It's fairly simple, but it needs to simmer. I usually use, for the whole recipe, 3 pounds of ground turkey and 2 pounds of ground beef. Personally I don't use the salt. can use 80 oz of tomato juice or a 120 oz. You'll get more servings if you're trying to make it go farther. If you like a thicker chili like a stew, then add a tablespoon of tomato paste and stir in and check until you get your desired thickness.
