Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Step 2
Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
Step 3
Season the filling: Add taco seasoning, water, and drained Rotel tomatoes. Stir and simmer for 3–5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly
Step 4
Prepare the crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Arrange them on a clean surface.
Step 5
Add the filling: Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the taco beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
Step 6
Roll them up: Starting at the wide end, carefully roll each crescent toward the pointed tip, keeping the filling tucked inside. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7
Add buttery topping: Brush each crescent with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and dried parsley. Add a little extra shredded cheese on top if desired.
Step 8
Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Step 9
Serve: Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, or your favorite salsa.
