Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Heat the oil a saucepan over a medium-high heat, add the bacon and fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp. Add the garlic, fry for a minute then stir in the tomato purée, chopped tomatoes and 250ml hot water, and allow to simmer gently for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the oregano, gnocchi and chicken, bring back to a simmer then carefully pour into an ovenproof dish.
Step 3
Cover with the breadcrumbs and cheese then bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes then serve each portion with a simple green salad.
