Instructions

Step 1
Add your chicken to a pot and boil with salt and 1/4 of an onion. Then chop the rest of the onion into thin slices and set aside.
Step 2
In a small sauce pan boil tomatoes in 2 cups of chicken broth. Once tomatoes are cooked add the whole 2 cups of chicken broth and tomatoes into a blender with 1 can of chipotle chili peppers in adobo sauce. I added the whole thing but depending on your spice level add half of the can and taste to see if it's hot enough to your liking. Blend thoroughly.
Step 3
In a large sauce pan cook chorizo and your Sliced onions, after a couple minutes add your Shredded chicken and your chile mixture. Add all your spices to taste then let simmer for 10 mins then done. Add Topping to your liking. I spread sourcream onto a tostada then add the tinga and lettuce, sliced avocado and topped with cotija cheese. Enjoy!
