Veggie Burgers

These are good veggie burgers. A combo of recipes I've seen. They can be crumbled up for a taco salad, made into meatballs for your spaghetti sauce, etc.

Instructions

Step 1
Cook Uncle Ben's brown rice in microwave. Drain and rinse black beans in colander. Put into blender with cooked brown rice, pasta sauce, oats, spices, water, chickpea flour. Pulse in blender until mixed. Pour into a mixing bowl, then add breadcrumbs & mix with gloved hands. Add more breadcrumbs if needed until the mixture feels sticky like ground hamburger. Shape mixture into 12 large balls, and place on foil lined cookie sheet sprayed with PAM cooking spray. Slightly flatten tops, brush each well with olive oil. Bake at 375 degrees until browned, about 20-25 minutes. Turn them over and do same for other side. Remove from oven and cool. Serve or freeze.
