Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C/Gas 5. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add the flour and syrup and mix to a soft dough. Roll into small balls and place on a greased baking tray, giving the biscuits room to spread. Press each one down slightly.
Step 3
Bake for about 6-10 minutes until golden, then allow the biscuits to cool slightly before transferring them onto a wire rack.
