Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425F. In a large skillet cook the bacon until crispy. Set the bacon aside. Take the quartered brussel sprouts and toss them in the skillet in the bacon grease. Then sprinkle with ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp garlic powder, and toss. Spread the brussel sprouts out on a baking sheet and bake on the middle rack for 10-15 mins until CRISPY! Keep an eye on them towards the end as your oven may cook faster.
Step 2
While the brussel sprouts are roasting, add the ground beef to the skillet and season with ½ tsp of the salt and garlic powder and cook (breaking it apart as it cooks) through.
Step 3
Once cooked through, push the beef to one side of the skillet.
Step 4
In a small bowl mix together the sauce ingredients. Pour into the skillet and whisk over medium heat.
Step 5
Once the sweetener is dissolved pour the cooked brussels into the pan as well as the bacon and mix it all together to coat in the sauce.
