Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Bland. Added steak seasoning to kick it up a notch!

I added paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and parsley to the turkey while cooking it. Then I added mushrooms and onions. I then put in a packet of gravy mix with 2 cups beef broth and 2 minced garlic cloves 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/4 or so brick of cream cheese! Added Al dente cooked egg noodles and served with fresh green beans! It was a hit! Family scrapped the pan clean❣️

I just added the noodles into the meat and sauce mixture, turned out good, it was slightly bland though

I made my own gravy, just eye balling quantity. Needless to say it had too much liquid. I spiced the base up with herbs, ran out of several of my go to additives. Used cranberry juice and red wine vinegar rather than red wine. Except for too runny; I was very pleased how it came out - not super fond of turkey but didn't notice it. Husband also liked.

This was pretty good. 3.5 stars. I've never had ground turkey in a recipe like this and I found the flavor had a resemblance to sausage, which I don't really like. It was still good though, enough that I'd make it again. The recipe says to wait 5 minutes "or until thickened". For me it was more like 12 minutes for the sauce to thicken up. I also think next time I'll put in maybe 6oz of mushrooms instead of 8oz. I love mushrooms, but it kind of felt like the meal was too mushroom-heavy.
