Instructions
Step 1
Combine soy sauce, 4 tbsp of water, 1 tbsp of cornstarch, and honey in a small bowl — mix well and set aside.
Step 2
Combine remaining 1 tbsp of cornstarch and 2 tbsp of water in a large bowl. Add beef and mix until evenly coated.
Step 3
Add oil, garlic, and beef to a large skillet and cook over low heat until no longer pink — steam broccoli and cook rice during this time.
Step 4
Add broccoli to beef mixture and pour soy sauce mixture over everything — mix and cook over low heat until sauce starts to thicken.
