Meatballs and Sauce

Step 1

1. Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven at medium low heat. Add onion and garlic, and stir frequently until onions and garlic are translucent. Add passata, lower heat and simmer.

Step 2

While sauce simmers, in a large bowl combine remaining ingredients. Combine well, but do not over work.

Step 3

Form into balls roughly 2 inches in diameter, and drop into sauce. Simmer, stirring occasionally for about 2 hours.

Step 4

Serve over pasta, or with a slice of crusty bread.
