Taco shells
Step 1
Start by mixing flour and butter with your hands until resembling wet sand. Add salt, baking soda and water and form a ball with a wooden spoon. The dough is supposed to be sticky, but if you find it too sticky feel free to add some flour
Step 2
Let rest for 30 minutes while you cook everything else. Divide the ball in 8 and spread on a floured surface into small circles. Cook in a pan on high heat in both sides until some dark spots start to appear.
Bean paste
Step 3
Add some olive oil in a pan followed by the beans (drained of their liquid) and the spices. Cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat, crank the heat to high and add ½ cup of water, mashing with the wooden spoon.
Step 4
Move to a bowl and add some more water if you find it too gluey/sticky
Cauliflower
Step 5
Cut the cauliflower and divide it with your hands in 1 inch pieces. Bring some water to boil, salt it lightly and drop the cauliflower in, cooking for 7-8 minutes.
Step 6
In an oiled pan on high heat, add the softened cauliflower and char on both sides, making sure not to burn it
Hot sauce
Step 7
In a small pot, add olive oil followed by all the ingredients except for the tomato sauce. Let the chili, garlic and salt, sugar, and vinegar, cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat, and only then add the tomato sauce, cooking for another 5.
Step 8
Add the mixture to a blender and blend as smoothly as possible
Serving
Step 9
Add the paste, cauliflower, hot sauce, some optional cilantro and serve. (Best if eaten hot)
