Instructions
Step 1
Cut the whole chicken in half and boil in water that has cloves, bay leaves, whole cardamom, peppercorn seeds, and coriander seeds

Fry the raw almonds
Step 3
In a pot add 1 tbsp canola oil, your washed rice, salt, pepper, and the chicken stock from the boiled chicken earlier
Step 4
In a blender add onions, salt, pepper, sumac, and lemon juice
Step 5
Take out the boiled chicken and place onto a large oven safe plate/bowl
Step 6
Pour the sauce from the blender on top of the chicken and then place it into the oven for about 30 minutes to an hour
Step 7
Dice up jalapeños and crush it up and then add lemon juice, salt, and chicken stock
Step 8
To assemble the plate, start by adding all of the rice onto a large plate, then garnish with almonds, then add the whole chicken on top and lastly add spoonfuls of the jalapeño sauce
