Spice Mix

1 teaspoonblack pepper

1 tspgaram masala

1 tspcoriander powder

1 teaspooncardamon powder

2 Tbspginger garlic paste

½ tspsalt

1 tablespoonlemon juice
Green Paste
Sweet Paste

2onions
medium sized, finely sliced, deep fried

20roasted pistachios

15roasted cashews

15roasted almonds

Instructions
Step 1
Deep fry the thinly sliced onions.

Step 2
Roast the nuts on high heat.



Step 3
Whisk the yogurt and prepare the spicemix.








Step 4
Grind the coriander, mint and green chillies first. Transfer them to the spicemix and yogurt.




Step 5
Grind the nuts and add in the deep fried onions.
Step 6
Mix all the ingredients together with the cut chicken and let it rest in the fridge for upto 24 hours.

Step 7
Heat the oil in a pan.

Step 8
Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and fry for 10 seconds.



Step 9
Add the cumin seeds and stir till they crackle

Step 10
Add in the entire marinade and cook for 5-8 minutes on high heat till the raw smell of the spices go away.
Step 11
Simmer and cover the pan. Cook till the chicken is cooked through. (10-20min)
