Instructions
Step 1
Cook onion and garlic with olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat for 5 minutes.




Step 2
While the onion and garlic is cooking, prepare your seasoning mixture by combining the water, sugar, and all of the spices.







Step 3
Add in the strained tomato and the tomato paste. Mix in the sugar, water, & spices mixture.



Step 4
Cover and simmer on low stirring occasionally, until cooked through, about 1 1/2 hours.
