Ingredients

1 Tbspvegetable oil
2 lbschicken wings
1yellow onion
medium, sliced thinly
1red bell pepper
small, sliced thinly
2cloves garlic
crushed
2 tspfresh ginger
finely grated
1 tspSriracha chili sauce
1 tspsesame oil
¼ cupsoy sauce
¼ cupwhite rice vinegar
2 Tbsphoney
4 headsbok choy
halved
12 ouncesrice noodles
cooked according to the package
2green onions
sliced thinly
2 tsptoasted sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat; cook chicken, in batches, turning, for 10 minutes, until well browned.
Step 2
Place yellow onion and bell pepper in base of a 5-quart slow cooker; top with chicken. Combine garlic, ginger, chili sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar and honey; pour into cooker. Cook, covered, on low, for 3 hours 30 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat oven broiler.
Step 4
Carefully remove chicken from cooker to a baking pan; broil, for 5 minutes, turning halfway through, until brown and skin is crisp.
Step 5
Meanwhile, skim fat from surface of remaining sauce mixture in cooker. Add bok choy and noodles to cooker, simmer, on high setting, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until heated through.
