best chocolate chip cookies everr

any wheat flour will work, but the combination listed gives the best results. I'm not sure about gluten free flours as I haven't tried them
any type of chocolate chips or chocolate chunks will do well
90 g of egg is around 2 large eggs, however having slightly less or slightly more will not significantly impact the cookies
this recipe makes approximately 24-30 2" cookies

Instructions
Step 1
add sugar to melted butter and whisk until well incorporated
Step 2
add eggs and vanilla until just combined
Step 3
add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated but do not overmix
Step 4
fold in chocolate chips and let rest for 30 mins to 72 hours
Step 5
bake at 375°F or until light brown at edges and centre seems a bit underdone approx 15 mins
Step 6
let cool and enjoy!
Step 7
optional: I toasted milk powder and added 2 tbsp of that because apparently thats supposed to give a little bit of a browned butter taste without having to brown butter for every batch. It makes a slight difference and I would recommend it, but the cookies can stand on their own so i would recommend trying it if you ever happen to have toasted milk powder (I just threw milk powder onto a pan and put it in the oven and mixed it every once in a while until it was light brown in colour)
Step 8
The salt is important and also make sure that you're using baking soda that isn't spoilt or else the cookies will taste weird
