Ingredients
8 servings
1 lbground beef
1 x 15 ozcan pinto beans
rinsed, drained mashed
1egg
¼ cupbread crumbs
0.25 packagedry onion soup mix
¼ cuponion
diced
5 ozcan mushroom
ned, finely diced
½ tspsmoked paprika
½ tspgarlic powder
salt
pepper
1 packetbrown gravy mix
1can cream of mushroom soup
0.75 packagedry onion soup mix
10 ozcanned mushroom
1 ½ cupwater
2 Tbspketchup
Instructions
Step 1
Mix beef, beans, egg, breadcrumbs, spices, onion and mushroom. Firm into 8 patties and cook in pan.
Step 2
In separate pot, thoroughly mix gravy mix with 1/2 cup cold water. Then add 1 cup water (or more depending on how thick you like your gravy), mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, mushrooms and ketchup. Pepper to taste. Whisk over medium heat until thickened turn heat off.
Step 3
When patties are mostly done cooking add gravy mix and continue cooking. Serve alone or on top of noodles, rice, potatoes, bread or whatever you like.
