For the breading
Step 3
Crush up corn flakes, (mostly pretty fine but you kinda was some texture so its okay if not everything gets crushed throughly )
Step 4
To the cornflakes, add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, celery salt, table salt parsley flakes, and red chili flakes (eye ball it to your preference)
For the strips
Step 5
♡ Take floured strips, and dip in egg whites
Step 6
♡ Let drip for a sec. then evenly coat with the breading
Step 7
♡ once evenly coated, lay each strip on an oiled mesh pan (i just spray with canola spray)
Step 8
♡ repeat until all strips are breaded and on the pan
Air fryer instructions
Step 9
Spray the strips with oil spray, and put in air fryer on 375° for like 15-20 minutes, 25 minutes if you want extra crispy (be sure to flip them about half way through)
Sauce
Step 10
While the strips are in the air fryer, cut up about 2 or 3 peices of garlic into thin circles and then thinly slice some green onion ( cut less if you dont want that many chunks and cut more if you want more)
Step 11
Add your garlic and green onion to a small sauce pan, then measure out your honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and brown sugar substitute into the same pan
Step 12
Sprinkle in your red chili flakes, celery seed, and sesame seed
Step 13
Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of water and mix all together until smooth, I recommend a silicone spatula
Step 14
Heat sauce on stove (medium heat) until its bubbling and just keep stirring until it thickens slightly
Step 15
Take sauce off heat and put into a dipping bowl or toss the strips in it, up to you
