Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 dregrees.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, oil, and eggs.
Step 3
Add the buttermilk, oatmeal, baking powder, salt, apples, and craisins. Mix well.
Step 4
Pour the mixing into a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or under firm in the center.
Step 5
To serve, spoon hot oatmeal into bowls, and pour in milk and sprinkle with brown sugar.
